About This Site

This network status page was developed to provide a service status overview for customers of Simply Hosting & Servers (a trading name of PoundHost Internet Ltd). The server is hosted in the USA so it is geographically separate from our UK data centres and network infrastructure.

There is an XML feed listing the current (5 minute) service checks. We also offer an RSS feed of our service announcements, both of which are freely available to customers and anyone else who find them useful.

Network at risk - Carrier line down
Resolved - One of our UK to Ireland links is currently down. The Redundant paths are functioning as expect so no impact is expected but the network should be considered at risk at this time.
We have a case open with the carrier and are awaiting updates.

The Carrier has confirmed the issue is resolved, we have monitored and are happy to now end the at risk period.

Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

Scheduled - Maintenance will take place on our Hyper-V platform between 15th and the 28th September from 02:00 until 07:00 UTC. During the update, VMs will be put in a save state, so they will be unreachable for a few minutes. If for any reason this isn't possible and the automated script fails, they will be forcibly shut down.
